How do I tell my child that I, or someone close to them has COVID-19: Ukukhathalela abantwana ukuba umzali une- COVID-19

Abantu abane- COVID-19 kufuneka bazikhethe kwabanye ukuze intsholongwane ingasasazeki iye kwabanye. Igosa lezempilo lakho liza kukuxelela ukuba uza kuzikhetha iintsuku ezingaphi. Thetha nabo ukuba kuyenzeka ukuba uzikhethe ekhaya okanye kwiziko lezempilo. Ukuzikhetha kuthetha ukuhlala kude nabanye abantu yaye ungaphumi phandle tu.

Ukunika inkathalo ngokubanzi:

  • Zinqande ungaphuzi iintsana nabantwana kangangoko unakho. Sebenzisa amehlo kunye nemmidlalo yokuncuma nokudlala njengokheth’omthandayo ukumgama okhuselekileyo (iimitha ezi 2 okanye izitulo ezibini phakathi kwenu)
  • Nxiba isifonyo selaphu xa udibene nomntwana wakho. Ungaziphathi ebusweni.
  • Ungawuphathi umlomo okanye amehlo osana okanye umntwana wakho.
  • Ungavutheleli ebusweni bomntwana wakho.
  • Thatha inkathalo uze ugcine izixhobo zokutya, iitawula kunye nezifonyo zobuso bucala kunezabantwana yaye hlamba ezi zinto bucala kwezosapho lonke.
  • Emva kokukhohlela nokuthimlela kwiphepha elithambileyo lokosula okanye ngaphakathi kwingqiniba yakho, lahla iphepha kude. Hlamba izandla ngokukhawuleza ngamanzi nesepha imizuzwana engama 20.
  • Hlamba okanye sebenzisa isicoci esisusa iintsholongwane ezandleni ngampambili nasemva kokubamba nantoni na eyeyomntwana (njengento yokudlala).

Amaxesha okutya:

  • Hlamba izandla zakho ngamanzi anesepha imizuzwana engama 20 ngaphambi kokulungisa izidlo okanye ukutyisa abantwana bakho.
  • Sula yonke imigangatho yokulungisa ukutya ngesepha namanzi okanye umxube odityaniswe neblitshi. Gcina iblitshi ikude nabantwana. Ingaba yingozi kakhulu.
  • Kwiintsana ezingaphezu kweenyanga ezi 6, lungisa isidlo kuqala ukuze utyise umntwana wakho ubuncinane kahlanu ngosuku.
  • Ebantwaneni abadadlanyana,  zama ukulungisa ukutya ukuze babe nokutya okukhoyo ubuncinane kathathu ngosuku.
